Support Services

Learning that your child has a serious medical condition like cancer or heart disease always comes as a shock, and the whole family will likely experience physical and psychological stress as you work through the diagnosis and treatment.

We understand that emotional support can be as important as medical care throughout this process, and we offer a wide range of support services, including counseling, to help your child and your family get through this challenging experience.

Our support services include:

Child Life

The Child Life Program’s mission is to strengthen children and families who are experiencing illness and trauma by helping them discover new skills, conquer challenges and build hope.

Quantum House

Quantum House is a caring and supportive home that lessens the burden for families whose children are receiving treatment in Palm Beach County for a serious medical condition.

Pediatric Oncology Support Team (POST)

POST exists because children get cancer too. And families who have a child with cancer need hope and help.

Pastoral Care

At Palm Beach Children's Hospital we recognize all faiths and beliefs in our pastoral approach and believe all spiritual and religious rites and symbols represent positive energy, faith, and hope.
