10-year-old shark bite survivor recovering at Palm Beach Children's Hospital at St. Mary's Medical Center

November 27th, a 10-year-old girl was bitten by a shark on a Treasure Coast beach. Given St. Mary’s Medical Center’s expertise in caring for injuries like this, she was flown down to us for treatment. She is recovering at the Children’s Hospital at St. Mary’s Medical Center. WPTV interviewed her and her trauma surgeon, Dr. Nir Hus, about the bite and her healing.
